It’s entirely possible that we had had a BIT too much wine when we booked our events for September, because let’s just say we are BOOKED!
(Okay, the above statement is not completely true; there’s never such thing as too much wine)
This weekend is shaping up to be a fun one for us. We have a wedding at the estate on Saturday, and the weather looks like it’s going to be gorgeous for our bride and groom! All week looks like perfect Blacksburg fall weather.
We’ll also be at Chateau Morrisette on Saturday for their Black Dog Music and BBQ Festival. We always have so much fun there! The people are great, the music is always rockin’ and this time there’s the promise of tasty barbecue. Yum!
If you want to know more about it, check out their event page.
Now, here’s the big news y’all. Beliveau Estate is proud to announce we will be hosting our first ever Grape Stomping Festival! Sunday, September 22 12-7 p.m. We have so much fun stuff planned for you that day!
Before you can even ask, we’ll tell you that YES there will be grape stomping for everyone! We recently acquired official grape stomping buckets so that anyone can get their Lucy and Ethel on. Speaking of which, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane:
Welcome back! Ah, memories. Anyway, besides grape stomping we’ll also have wine tastings and sales, as well as live music. El Capitán is a local band that will perform a blend of Latin and Flamenco selections from 1-3 p.m. Then get ready to rock because we have Stone Canyon performing its first concert from 4-7 p.m. Seriously, both of these bands are so great and we’re thrilled to have them out for the festival. If you want a little music sampling of each, just click on the links!
Admission for the festival is $15, and includes a wine tasting, grape stomping and admittance to Stone Canyon’s performance. We highly encourage those staying for the concert to bring blankets, lawn chairs, etc. so you don’t have to sit on the grass. The event will be held rain or shine, so do your sun dance! We are so excited, and we hope to see you there! Cheers!
