The First Annual Potato & Pie Festival was a fun way to spend a beautiful, crisp fall day! Guests sipped wine and creamy potato soup, indulged in Chef Dell’s homemade pizzas and pies, played cornhole and other games, enjoyed music by local Folk/Blues band Huckleberry Pie, and admired the beauty of the colorful foliage on the mountainside.
Guests raved about the trio of mini pies specially crafted by Chef Dell for the Potato & Pie Festival. Among Apple Crumb with Caramel Drizzle, Sweet Potato with Spiced Brie Cream, and Strawberry Basil Balsamic, it was difficult to choose a favorite!
We also served up Shepherd’s Pizza Pie, Potato Wedges with Loaded Salad Dressing Dip, Loaded Potato Soup, Cheese Pizza, and Gourmet Cheese Plates!
Local Folk/Blues band, Huckleberry Pie, gave visitors a nice mix of cover songs and originals to sing and move along with. See them perform at Beliveau Estate Winery again October 31st during our Hillbilly “Hallowine” Hoedown!
To benefit the Montgomery County Christmas Store, we conducted a Silent Pie Auction. Each attendee who brought a pie for the auction was given a complimentary lavender sachet as a token of appreciation for his or her donation. Thank you to all who brought pies!
Families, Friends, Singles, Couples, and Canines all came out to enjoy the Potato & Pie Festival.
We hope all our attendees enjoyed the First Annual Potato & Pie Fest!
