This winter the Beliveau Estate Winery Tasting Room is getting a makeover! Beliveau Estate Owner, Lead Winemaker, and Virginia Tech Building Construction Department Head, Yvan Beliveau, has begun the transformation process by installing a beautiful custom-built wine rack that stores hundreds of bottles of wine. The handcrafted shelving along the top attractively displays bottles that showcase autographs by special visitors and awards from regional wine competitions.
Beliveau’s next endeavor will involve demolishing a wall (or two) in the tasting room and extending the length of the wine bar to allow for a larger capacity of guests and products. The larger room and bar will accommodate the growing number of visitors the winery receives each day. In addition to expanding the size of the room and bar for our wine drinkers, we also need to create space for the new wines we continue to introduce every few months. Beliveau Estate currently offers 18 different wines with several more to come in the following months.
Even though we will be busy making improvements to our main tasting room throughout the winter months, we will still be operating as usual Wednesday-Sunday 12-6PM each week! Luckily we have, not just one, but TWO indoor wine bars, so even if we are busy renovating our front tasting room, we can still serve wine, freshly baked pizzas, and gourmet cheese plates from our back bar!
We hope you’ll choose to be a part of our growth process and visit before, during, and after our improvements are complete. Thank you for supporting us and giving us reasons to update our business so that we may better serve you!
PS – If you’re looking to pair fine wines with fine gems this evening (12/3), stop by Kent Jewelers in Blacksburg 5 to 8PM. We’ll pour you a delicious glass of Beliveau Estate wine to sip while you browse Kent’s gorgeous gems!
